# OrgTool

> OrgTool is local-first org design and workforce restructuring software. It runs entirely on
> the user's machine as a single self-contained application; organizational data is stored in
> the browser and in `.orgpack` files the user chooses, never uploaded by default. Its
> restructuring workbench computes EEOC Uniform Guidelines 80%-rule and Fisher's exact
> adverse-impact analysis and Federal/CA/NY/NJ/IL WARN Act threshold evaluation, and exports a
> byte-deterministic, SHA-256 hash-stamped audit pack. AI-assisted analysis is off by default,
> gated behind explicit per-session consent, and uses the user's own Anthropic API key.
